Location: Remote but can be onsite by choice if they already live by an office.

This is a tool used to develop online courses and content. There are other tools out there, like Storyline, but they all function differently and we won’t have time to teach someone.
Education: the hm would rather have someone with a high school education and 7 years of on the job experience than someone with a masters degree. -If someone doesn’t have a portfolio, please do not submit.

Join our innovative team as an Instructional Designer and Developer, bringing your expertise in diverse learning modalities to the forefront.
From eLearning technologies like Captivate to knowledge management, instructor-led education, and engaging tutorial videos, your role will
be instrumental in projects aimed at facilitating the seamless transfer, retention, and adoption of training content.
Schedule: Remote (On-site optional by choice if they live by an office already)
Hours per week: 40
Reason for: special projects (onboarding redesign for new hires)
Collaborate closely with the global Learning and Development team for strategic planning and curriculum creation to enhance internal staff learning programs.
Content Design and Development:
Create courses from start to finish in the entire ADDIE process.
This involves both designing and developing courses for ILT, SGT, and vILT.
Design engaging eLearning storyboards and oversee the entire review and editing process to create customized content.
Develop interactive eLearning courses using Captivate and publish them in our Learning Management System (LMS).
Captivate development is a mandatory skill. Other authoring tools, such as Storyline, will not be sufficient.
Utilize your video development expertise in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects to produce high-quality instructional videos with closed captions.
Learning Advisory Role:
Act as a trusted learning advisor within the department, determining the most effective modalities for each course in a comprehensive onboarding curriculum.
Needs Analysis and Continuous Improvement:
Conduct ongoing needs analyses, considering the impact on learners, development timelines, and overall business outcomes.
Write and organize content in the Knowledge Center, ensuring its relevance and practical application for employees on the job.
Experience: 3-5 years of eLearning development experience using Captivate or a combination of Storyline and Captivate.
Methodology: Proficient in using the ADDIE model for content development and SAM.
Multimedia Skills: Hands-on experience in video development using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects.
Training Programs: Prior experience in creating curriculums, onboarding, or multi-departmental training programs.
Education: B.A./B.S. degree required or equivalent experience.
